Kodak ll

Constant Change

I previously wrote about Kodak and how it had to change from film to digital photography. The change continues in this story….

While sales are at $7B….Kodak is not profitable….and has a stock price of around a $1.

Kodak has been slow to adopt to technological changes….and is a perfect example of a business that is on the downward path in its life cycle. Can Kodak survive?….possibly in one form or another….though it won’t be as a fortune 100 company.

The paradox is that some businesses can continue to do what they do best while others always have to change. It’s not easy….yet that’s free enterprise….and the need for good people to lead and mange companies.
