A Different Market

Harley-Davidson makes big motorcycles and has a loyal customer base with the “big iron.” While successful with an older customer base….it recognized that it wasn’t attracting the next generation rider….a different demographic.

Harley has developed a bike….the 883…. which appeals to a younger customer base in both price and style. The details and finish are “cool”. The 883 has been a good seller.

Like any good business….Harley knows its market and customers. It is a motorcycle manufacture that has several markets. It hasn’t strayed from its purpose….only recognizing that there are “old school” and “new school” customers.
