Valued People

People spend their time….attention and money in places that make them feel valued.

I’ve mentioned before about the changes taking place at Lowe’s and HomeDepot….significant interaction between the folks on the floor and the customer. Great restaurant owners are good at this….walking around the dining room….talking to their guests.

Connecting….relating to people is the first step in developing a strong relationship. Now often the question is: does everyone want this personal relationship?

For the most part….people want to feel valued (important)….when the value is genuine. The best sales for our family business were when the customer and us were important to each other.

We valued our customer for considering us….they believed they were receiving good value in our products and service.
