Days like this were lost days in our business. especially a Saturday….usually the busiest day of the week. All the advertising was directed to weekend business….Friday evening and Saturday.
Radio spots were written….the 3/4 page ad was laidout…..picked up by the sales rep….than a proof delivered and published on Thursday. The newspaper ad being the biggest weekly advertising expense. All in waiting for the week-end customers. Unfortunately days like that above meant almost no weekend business.
The only remedy for a lost weekend….perserve and be ready for the next week.
